Tramanco specializes in private (consumer) conversions for wheelchair access to suitable smaller vehicles such as the Mercedes Benz Vito van, as shown here. VW Tranporter or Caravelle, Peugeot Expert and Citroen vans, Iveco Daily, Fiat Ducato, Toyota Hi-Ace and Ford Transit to name a few.
We offer a wide range of BRAUN loaders to suit many types of applications; these loaders are fitted in combination with the Q'STRAINT wheelchair restraint systems. We also install side windows, hood and side wall lining, additional seating and air conditioning if required.
All BRAUN wheelchair lifts are AS/NZS.3856.1, 1998 compliant and all Q'STRAINT wheelchair restraint systems are AS/NZS.2942-1994 compliant.

Buses and Coaches NL500 Baylift

The BRAUN NL500 "Moreton" Baylift is a vertical style lift of compact design that takes up nominal space within the luggage bin area. The NL500 has significant advantages over similar lifts available in the Australasian bus and coach sector.

Toyota Commuter L918 Millenium Series

The BRAUN Millennium L918 Series featured in this Toyota Commuter conversion offers a range of different loaders with varying platform sizes to suit a variety of vehicle applications.
The wheelchair restraints used are the Q'STRAINT QRT MAX with Slide N Click connections.
The L918 along with the others in this series offers the following features:

  • fully automatic lift, operated by an attendant
  • hand-held control box with colour coded rocker switches for easy operation of lift
  • side or rear door application
  • miscellaneous platform widths and lengths
  • dual handrails for security and convenience
  • hydraulic automatic roll stop that in the full up position before platform leaves the ground
  • mechanical inboard barrier ensuring extra safety for wheelchair occupant
  • integrated back up pump
  • equipped with an adjustable anti rattle feature to avoid noise during transit

Toyota Commuter VL998 Vista Series

The BRAUN Vista VL998 Series featured in this Toyota Commuter conversion offers a unique split platform that automatically opens during the fold cycle which not only allows for increased visibility but also vehicle interior access through the lift opening.

Other features of this lift include:

Kia Carnival Turny Swivel Seat

The innovative design of the Auto Adapt Turny Swivel Seat Lift allows it to swivel, lift and lower passengers from the vehicle with ease. Raised and lowered via a remote it is available in two lifting heights of 395mm or 480mm that can be adapted to various vehicle types and end user requirements.
It can be installed in the front passenger seat (subject to vehicle suitablilty) or in the mid row of people movers, as pictured here, again subject to vehicle suitability.
The base of the Turny is installed in the floor attachments of the original car seat and used in conjunction with a BEV low profile seat it maintains a suitable seat height inside the vehicle. When time comes to replace the vehicle the Turny base is simply removed and the original seat refitted.
This is an ideal product for the disabled passenger able to transfer from a wheelchair, or it can be combined with a Carony system that allows the seat to dock neatly to a wheelchair frame unit.
